Don Amott makes charitable donation to refurbish Hilton village hall

Thursday 25th June 2015

The Directors and staff at Hilton Village Hall are very proud and excited to
announce our fantastic news that Don Amott and his family are working very
hard as a benefactor to Hilton Village Hall to improve our facility even further to the benefit of our Hall and our great community.
Don Amott and his family have very kindly agreed to
cover the cost of the refurbishment as a donation to the Hilton Village Hall Charity.
The Directors and its staff at Hilton Village Hall would very much like to thank Don
Amott and his family for their generosity, help and support, which is very much
appreciated.
Don Amott Leisure Kingdom in Hilton dates back to 1963 when Don Amott Senior
founded the company. Don Amott Junior took over the reins in 1975 when his father
sadly passed away. This year will be the 40th anniversary of Don Amott Seniors
passing and both Don Amott Junior and his family along with the Hilton Village Hall
Directors and its staff, would like to leave a fitting tribute to Don Amott Senior.
Our plan and vision together is to recognise the hard work, blood, sweat and tears
that Don Amott Senior put into making a very successful company that has provided
many jobs for local people, contributing substantially to the local community.

Hilton Village Hall will also be changing its name to the Don Amott Memorial Hall.
This is in recognition of the anniversary of Don Amott Seniors passing and for the
very generous and kind donation to the Hilton Village Hall Charity from Don Amott
and his family.
The large hall will also be named with a fitting plaque after Don Amott Senior.
